Hopefully, you are getting information via email and announcements. Please add your name to Sister Holman’s email list if you haven’t already so you can get updates on our activities.
Thanks, too, to Sister Kay Williams and Sister Kris Humphries who are instrumental in getting messages out for us via the computer! What a great tool!
Tuesday night, June 14, will be our “Food Storage Iron Chef” challenge. We are looking forward to a great activity. You may have your food storage, but do you know how to use the items you have?
Participants of our Food Storage Iron Chef challenge will be given a “secret ingredient” commonly found in your food storage. Participants will then be assigned to create an appetizer, main dish, or dessert using this secret ingredient.
We will meet at the ward to see what each participant has created. You will be allowed to taste each item and possibly take home a new recipe. There will also be some other food storage related activities. It should be a fun, educational, and tasty evening!
More information will be coming at a later date regarding our humanitarian hygiene kit project.
Because of busy family summer activities, etc., our June 14 activity will be the last one before the Stake Relief Society General Conference in September. Hope to see you there!
Apologies to Kaitlyn Buchanan and Caitlin Rosenlof for continually mixing up and misspelling their names! Sorry. We so appreciate it when the Young Women can help us with our children.
Sister Joan Johnson will be residing at Alta Ridge on 9800 South 1900 West, Room 207. She would love seeing her friends.
Esteemed former ward member Emily Harker gave birth recently to twin girls, Aurora and Ella. We congratulate her and wish her family well on numbers eight and nine.
Once again, we want to thank those who helped in any way to provide the luncheon for the Stout [Potter] family this past month. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
