Robyn Burton's Father-Corlas Dee Montague Passes Away

The Whitehall Ward Relief Society wishes to express their sincere condolences to Robyn Burton and her family on the death of her Father Corlas Dee Montague:

Corlas Dee Montague
(August 14, 1946 - December 15, 2013)
Antimony, Utah - Corlas Dee Montague, age 67, passed away surrounded by his family on December 15, 2013, in his home in Antimony. He was born August 14, 1946 a son of George Ivan and Avera Warner Montague.
He had many loves and hobbies which include, cooking, he made the best damn bread you have ever tasted, guns, hunting, scouting for wood and of course animals. Being in his home in Antimony was his favorite place to be.
He began his love of cuttin’ meat at the age of seventeen, managing meat markets for Albertsons; he carried out that love in the back of our home finishing out with 50 years under his belt.
For many years he was a truck driver developing a love for semi’s that he passed on to anyone who took a road trip with him always pointing out the big beautiful eighteen wheelers. A road trip with dad was not complete without the sound of his favorite tunes of the good ole days.
He had the amazing ability to make a world of friends everywhere he went. He loved to make people laugh with his humor and pranks. His greatest joy has always been being a dad and a grandpa, planting the love of these hobbies in our hearts.
He was sealed to his family for time and all eternity in the Jordan River Temple in 1990. Families are forever!
Dearly loved by his seven children, thirteen grandchildren and best friend (former wife), Delsie Anne, Robyn and Casey Burton, Jordee, Alexee, Kaylee; Cole and Brittney Montague, Marcelino, Brodee, Crew, Gradee; Jordan Montague, Ryder; Jacob and Carlye Montague, Claire, Stetson; Alisha Montague, Wendy and Tony Visser, Travis Montague, Morgyn, Mckelle, Bexlee. He was also dearly loved by his mom and dad and brothers and sisters and their families, both here on earth and with him now in heaven: Calvin, Maribeth, Margery, Madeline, Cecil, Peggie and Maurine.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1 pm in the Antimony LDS Ward where friends may call for viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Antimony Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the following 2013 Christmas message:
“Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11). Let us make Christmas a time of rejoicing and celebration, a time to share the marvelous truth that Almighty God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world!
