Shaylee's Poem

Shaylee Tanner is the 10 year old daughter of Miriam Barker. She wrote this by herself and asked if it could be to published on our blog site:

"He once stood beside us and held our hand
and it will be happy again.

Someday, we will feel his love inside out.
Someday we will walk with Him.

We will remember Him.
Someday we will feel love streaming through his veins.

Once again he will show us his palms of his hands and his scars,
those dear holes in his hands, wrist, feet and ankles.

Someday we will live in his kingdom.
Someday, we'll hold his hand and pray someday, someday, someday.

Yes, it will happen someday.
Live your life like you have thirty years to live the commandments
as if you were to die tomorrow.

Just remember...yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery,
today is a gift...That's why it is called a present."
