safe and walking in Merida, near the Tacloban area.
Elder Hughes' father, Randy Hughes, said he received a text message from his
son Monday morning saying the missionaries in Tacloban are OK and being
evacuated to Cebu."

THURSDAY NOV.14TH 7:00 P.M.- ACTIVITY NIGHT
Hi ladies,
Just a reminder that our Relief Society activity is coming up on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm.
We our lucky to have a presentation by Joyce Jones and Joyce Carter on Gratitude! It will be fabulous!
We are also doing a small craft for Christmas.... there is still time to sign up if you are interested in making it. Please let me know by Sunday if haven't signed up already. The cost is $4.00.

Ward Member Larry David Stewart Passes Away

1943-2013
Larry David Stewart was born November 23, 1943 in Price, Utah to Leland N. and Joy Ann Pelca Stewart. He married Gaylyn Marie Jensen on January 22, 1971. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on January 2, 2003.Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at home on June 29, 2013 in the presence of his wife, with his children and grandchildren close by. “Spanky” retired from Kennecott after 30 years and devoted the rest of his life to his family. He will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his wife Gaylyn, son Todd (Cheri) Stewart, daughters Diana (Leny) Neff, Holly (Micheal) Hennessy; grandkids Nikolus, Brittani, Kaitlin, Michael, Kimberly, Ammon, Harley, Ezekiel, Dawn, Sophie, Elijah, Audrey; great grandson Akadian, brothers Jim (Sue) Stewart and Billy (Kandis) Stewart. Preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Tommy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at Whitehall Ward, 3150 West Whitehall Drive in West Valley City, UT. A viewing will be held at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan on Friday, July 5 from 6-8 pm and 1 hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Whitehall Ward R.S. Activity Night- April 11th
Sisters,
- We want to remind you of our April Relief Society Activity this Thursday,
- April 11 at 7pm in the Gym.
- We will have an evening of Gardening.
- There will be a presentation by a Master Gardener
- We will hear some great uses for the produce you grow and we will be painting cute terracotta pots.
We hope you will be able to join us for this fun evening.

PEARL AILEEN FERGUSON-WARD MEMBER PASSES AWAY
Dear neighbors, friends and Whitehall
Ward members. We are saddened to let you know of the recent passing of Sister Pearl Aileen Ferguson.
Pearl Aileen Black Ferguson "Booty"
Born 2/10/1928 passed in peaceful sleep 3/3/2013 of natural causes. 1 of 6 children born to George Merle “Slim” and Pearl Marie Black of Springville UT.
Aileen, loving wife to Meredith “Pete” Ferguson, devoted mother of 9, Dan, Tom, Audrey, Roquell, Joe, Sue, Casey, Joyce and Phyllis; 29 grandchildren, 64 great and 2 great-great. Aileen’s passion in life was her family and knowing details about each and every one of them. Her occupational passion was preparing good food for those in care centers. Accomplishments included directing youth theater, 2 term president Utah Scottish Association, catering Scottish food for festivals and recipient of the Great Scot Award. At age 78 served an LDS mission in Australia. Dulcius Ex Asperis: “Sweeter through Difficulty” a family motto that held true all her amazing life. We love you, Mom.
Memorial service will be held at 11am March 9th at White Hall Chapel, 3150 W White Hall Dr. (3985 S) West Valley City. If desired please send flowers to the chapel by 11am Saturday. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
